The HAYAT system is a system that allows the helicopter to be secured, maneuvered and taken to the helicopter hangar and from the hangar to the platform without the need for personnel on the platform during the helicopter operation.
All of the equipment mounted on the ship is located on the main deck.
The HAYAT system consists of a rail, which is designed to be integrated with the ship's main deck construction, image sensing units for location determination, a trolley and hydraulic power unit to capture the helicopter, and drum and tension control equipment.
The image sensing units, which are used to locate the helicopter on the deck, provide the pilot with a relative indication of the area on the deck where the pilot will land.
