Safety Nets

Safety Nets for Naval Ships

The safety nets used on naval ships are manufactured from high-strength polyester, specially selected for its resistance to the harsh effects of sunlight and seawater. All connection materials are made from stainless steel, specifically grades 316 and 316L, ensuring long-term durability and resistance to corrosion. The frames supporting the nets are constructed from lightweight yet strong aluminum. Importantly, all materials used are asbestos-free, aligning with modern health and environmental standards.

Certification

These safety nets are certified by Turkish Lloyd, confirming compliance with rigorous marine safety standards. Each net has been thoroughly tested to withstand loads up to 1000 lbs, ensuring reliability in critical safety applications.

Dimensions & Weight

Two standard size options are available:

2000 x 1300 mm nets with an approximate weight of 30 kg

1800 x 1300 mm nets with an approximate weight of 28 kg

These dimensions are designed to suit various shipboard configurations while maintaining ease of handling and installation.

Operation

The safety net frames are manually operated and are engineered to be securely lockable in both the open (horizontal) and closed (upright) positions. This functionality enhances both safety and operational efficiency during shipboard activities.
